We’ll the quiz was fifteen multiple choice questions that we were able to be in a group of 3 people to answer together.
Our group was the 3 gringos.
We did manage, even with 3 heads, to miss 1 out of 15.
I did more of marking down the answers than answering them.
I have to think longer and harder about each question before I figure it out.
I wonder if I’ll pass the final for the month and be allowed to go on to the second month.
We’ll see.
If not, maybe I’ll take some one-on-one lessons from Pastor Juan’s wife, Maria.
She had offered to tutor us before.
They live near the school and I could go there while Robert and Kelsey continued their studies.
We’ll see how the Lord leads us.
I fixed another “americana” meal tonight. I hear Ricky’s family referring to my cooking that way, and of course they are right with all but one meal. Diego, Ricky’s nephew, comes into the kitchen and smells what’s cooking and wants to try things out. Tonight it was Chicken Divan. Ricky is so polite that I don’t think he’d tell me that he’s gonna loose his dinner cause it is so different than he’s used to. Diego, though, he’s a different story. It probably is a good thing that I can’t understand much of anything he is saying. I did manage to go to the market alone today. With a lot of hand motions and talking English to folks who don’t understand it, I got all but one ingredient for a pasta dish. I headed to the local grocery store for that and discovered they don’t sale white beans in a can. I’ll have to soak them and cook them another day. Kelsey went with Ricky to his cell group from his church again. It is giving me time to enter a couple weeks of journaling into this new blog. Thank you AIM, Marcia Borg and Mike Price. Blogspot.com just didn’t work for me. I hope all, who are interested in reading these, enjoy this format. Blessings to you!!! Dios de bendiga.
